My name is Rachelle Maatouk, and I have dedicated over 25 years to the fitness industry, with more than 15 of those as a coach, mentor, and guide. Along the way, I’ve learned the truths and challenges that come with this domain—and I am passionate about reshaping the industry for the better.
I've been a competitive athlete in Powerlifting, Body Building, Strongman and CrossFit for the majority of my life. I've also been on the end of dealing with mental health, PTSD, and all the aspects that come with severe childhood trauma. My experiences have shaped my nuance to coaching and have helped build a more personalized and unique approach to the health and fitness industry.
At SWAT Movement, my mission is to break the mold of cookie-cutter solutions in health and fitness. Humans are complex, multifactorial beings with physical, mental, and emotional layers that cannot be addressed by one-size-fits-all approaches. My work centers on holding a higher standard—educating, empowering, and guiding individuals to discover their own paths to healing, strength, and success.
But let’s be clear: my approach is not soft or easy. True healing and growth come through intensity, commitment, and challenging the mind and body to go beyond their perceived limits. SWAT Movement incorporates dynamic intensity that pushes your physical boundaries while honoring the body’s need for recovery and balance. It’s about creating real, lasting change that strengthens you from the inside out—mentally, emotionally, and physically.
My coaching philosophy is simple: success isn’t about holding onto clients—it’s about helping them find the path that works best for their unique needs. True empowerment means giving people the tools, confidence, and education to thrive, no matter where their journey takes them. Creating independence in an individual will allow for continuous growth and success.
On a deeper level, my life’s mission is to help individuals heal trauma, restore balance, and rebuild resilience through movement and breathwork. There’s more to movement than just muscles, and more to muscles than just motion. I believe in unconventional, trauma-informed methods that honor the mind-body connection and address the root causes of pain and dysfunction.
